Passport
- Current passport (minimum validity for 06 months until the planned date of return and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp) with all old passports. If the immediate previous passport is lost, then a G.D (English) copy for that passport is required.
Photo
- Two recent color Photographs (size 35 X 45 mm) with a white background but no cap and no sunglasses. Please note: the photo should not be more than 03 months old and should not be used in any of the previous visas. The applicant’s ear must be visible in his/her photo.
Sponsors/Financial Proof
- Bank statement & solvency certificate (original with bank seal and signature) of Last 06 months for both company & personal.
- Other financial documents such as FDR, saving certificate, share statement (If available).
- Income tax certificate copy (last 3 years), E-TIN certificate copy.
- Valuation of other assets such as land, and buildings (If any).
Air Ticket
- Air Booking Copy.
Other Documents
- Birth certificate / National ID card copy of applicants.
- Marriage certificate or Divorce certificate copy (as per religion). A Death certificate copy is required for widows. Please note: If the applicant applies with family but his/ her name is not mentioned in the spouse’s passport or vice versa then a marriage certificate copy is mandatory.
- For Tourist Purpose: Personal Invitation letter & evidence of your inviter’s passport and status in Australia (If available).
- Hotel Booking.
Additional Requirements
- If a friend/relative in Australia is paying for your visit then a Statutory Declaration stating the relative or friend’s support and evidence of their financial capacity to do so – for example a letter of invitation, bank statements and tax documents.
- It is important to provide evidence of your own financial status even if your trip is being funded by a friend or a relative. Your own financial status is a factor that is considered in assessing whether your personal circumstances would encourage you to return to your home country.
- Applicants over 75 years of age and any applicant requesting a stay of 12 months must provide evidence of Overseas Health Insurance.
